Happy Friday friends! I wanted to post a little update of what’s been going on lately.  I hope everyone has a great weekend!

CLOSET:

BIG news! I bought my first pair of Over The Knee boots EVER this week! These black Marc Fisher OTK boots were $100 and are super comfy with a block heel that’s under 3 inches. Now I am trying to figure out the best way to style them, with a dress?? Help me out! Pretty please leave any advice in the comments below. KITCHEN:

Now that the temp is cooling off a little here in San Diego, I have been making slow cooker paleo buffalo chicken chili NON STOP. Guys, I think I have a paleo chili addiction, it’s just so good. And easy. Obsessed.

I also found these paleo tortillas at Whole Foods and they are pretty delicious. Being that I try to avoid grains, it’s been a really long time since I have had a good tortilla! I am thinking of making breakfast tacos with them this weekend. I’ll let you know how they turn out but I am thinking: eggs, turkey bacon, avocado and salsa. All of my favorite things in one tortilla, yes please. Yum.

NIGHTSTAND:

The Magnolia Story

I started The Magnolia Story this weekend and have already caught myself laughing out loud to Chip’s silliness. He makes me laugh a lot on the show and their book is just the same. I am only a few chapters in but I am already pretty hooked on their love story. #relationshipgoals

november goals:

Take more pictures! 2016 is going to be the year of the first couple Christmas card ever. I love receiving Christmas cards from family and friends over the holidays and this year I have talked Marc into sending out our own! We have hardly any pictures of us from this year compared to 2015 so it’s also a good reason for us to take some pics this month.

Last but not least, get my butt back to the gym! October was a very eventful month on the health front with my Crohn’s disease kicking my butt. I had a change in medication and that completely left me feeling exhausted for over a month (to be honest, it’s really been several months).  Now that I am off steroids, I look forward to getting rid of these extra pounds that wouldn’t budge while I was taking them.

GOAL: at least 4 workouts per week….

That can be as simple as a long walk and some stretching. I just need some sort of activity goal to get back into making exercising a priority.  I need to burn some calories before Thanksgiving comes and I eat everything… and then there’s Christmas… we won’t even go there! How do you guys stay on track with exercising during the holidays?
